Reduced Cost Spay/Neuter Program

Thanks to Measure AV and the City of Palmdale, we’re proud to offer reduced cost spay/neuter services to support pet families in need and help reduce the number of unwanted animals in our community. 

Residents of Palmdale in zip codes 93550, 93551, and 93552 must provide a valid ID, proof of residency, and proof of pet ownership when applying.

The Caravita Foundation has joined our coalition to expand access to spay and neuter services for families in Antelope Valley communities outside the incorporated City of Palmdale. 

We’re proud to team up with Antelope Valley’s dedicated trappers to provide FREE spay and neuter services for feral cats. Cats must be transported in secure cat traps. Each cat will receive sterilization surgery, a rabies vaccine, ear tipping, and post-operative pain medication — all at no cost to trappers.

• Additional requested services will be at the trappers expense.  
• Sick or injured cats will be handled on a case by case basis with regards to financial coverage. 
• Application and Certification Required. 

Certified trappers may apply to borrow a cat trap directly from us. A $50 deposit is required and will be refunded when the trap is returned. To ensure availability for others, traps must be returned within 7 days of checkout.
